Happy Summer!
Greetings fiber friends. We
celebrated Summer Solstice while we were at Black Sheep Gathering in
Eugene, Oregon just a few weeks ago. Summer is in full swing here in
California - which means sometimes foggy days in San Francisco and
HOT in most of the rest of California. Here at Carolina Homespun we
are rearranging the shop and getting new shelves and hopefully some
better organization in the process. Thank you to Casey, Anthony,
Brenda, Anne and Lann for all your help in making this happen!
This summer we have some very
exciting events coming up - The second summer intensive of the
Golden Gate Fiber
Institute (there are still a few spaces if you are interested!)
and Sock Summit!
I will be in San Francisco most of
July and August and so will have shop hours and classes except
during the Golden Gate Fiber Institute and Sock Summit!
We have also joined the Craft Shop
Shuffle - a fun online game - to introduce some new craft shops.
You visit different websites look for the Craftshop Shuffle icon on the front page
and then follow the clues to find the "Found It" icon for fun
prizes. Our clue is : I am beautiful and oh so wonderful to use,
many people want me, but you must be willing to wait for up to 3
years before i will arrive at your house!
